Zinaida Abrosimova
Senior Associate, Corporate Strategies and Member Services

Zinaida Abrosimova is a Senior Associate, Corporate Strategies and Member Services department. In this capacity she is in charge of coordination of projects with companies implemented in the framework of their corporate social responsibility. Zinaida also provides input in supporting National Association «Business for Healthy Society»as well as in developing surveys and publications within the Program.

During the period 2005-2008 Zinaida worked in GBC/TPAA’s Journalism Program, where in the last year she was in charge of coordination and implementation of all projects within the program - Journalism trainings on covering HIV/AIDS in mass media; Media Fellowship Program on HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis; Development of Information on-line resource and Association for journalists covering public health diseases.

Zinaida graduated from Higher School of Human Science named after S. Dubnov, Social Psychology department. Prior to join the organization she served in the Centre of Sociology of Education, Russian Academy of Education as a researcher, laboratory «Lifestyle and deviant behavior in adolescent subculture». There she took part in conducting of sociological researchers, studying of adolescents' health and deviation (smoking, alcohol, drug using), as well in the project "Tolerance in Adolescents' Subculture". She has 10 scientific publications.


Andrey Bikir
Accountant Associate

Andrey Bikir was graduated from “Steel and Alloy” High School, where he also finished post-graduate course. Prior working in TPAA Andrey worked in commercial structures in positions of financial analytic and accountant.   Andrey was raising the level of his skill in the Institute of Professional Accountants and Auditors of Russia where he is a full member.

Anna Fedoryak
Associate, Communications and External Affairs, Informational Resources Coordinator

Anna Fedoryak is an  Associate, Communications and External Affairs, and Informational Resources Coordinator. Anna is responsible for the content and development of the resource www.stopspid.ru. She also coordinates development and implementation of SMS campaigns, and printed informational materials for the StopSPID campaign. Anna also works closely with journalists and editors on content development for publications, television and radio projects as well as campaign events. Anna graduated from Peoples Friendship University of Russia, Department of History (with honours). After graduation she worked as interpreter and translator for Spanish agency of international adoptions and as news editor and journalist for leading Russian on-line editions. Anna speaks English and Spanish.

Tatyana Golovanova
Program Associate for Projects and Events, Policy Program

Tatiana Golovanova is Program Associate for Projects and Events in the Policy Program. Her responsibilities include a full range of activities relating to organization and coordination of program events, as well as preparation of relevant follow-up materials and reports.

Prior to joining GBC, Tatiana worked at the Society for the Development of Novosibirsk where she was responsible for conceptual development of the Preservation of Youth’s Health Project, assisted staff in project planning, monitoring and evaluation, as well as in empowerment of public associations of Russian Germans throughout Siberia and Far East. In 2004-2006, she served as an expert for the European Commission’s Prevention and Fight against HIV/AIDS (Stage I, Russian Federation) Project. Before that, she worked for over eight years at the Novosibirsk-based non-profit organization «Humanitarian Project». She graduated from Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University’s Department of Psychology and Pre-School Pedagogics. Tatiana has authored 13 publications, 4 of which are manuals on organization of HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment programs.


Tatiana Grechanaia
Director, Knowledge, Evaluation and Performance

Tatiana Grechanaia MD, PhD, is Director, Knowledge, Evaluation and Performance, Russia and Ukraine. Since 2004 she worked as Senior Associate and Manager of HEALTH@WORK Program, based in TPAA's Moscow office. In this capacity, she was responsible for development of workplace HIV/AIDS and Alcohol and Drug Abuse prevention training curriculum with accompanying materials and training. Prior to joining the TPAA team, Tatiana was Russian Principal Investigator for two Russian-American Research Projects: Partners for Prevention and worked in collaboration with the NIAAA and the University of Minnesota on cultural adaptation and evaluation of adolescent alcohol use prevention programs. She also worked in collaboration with NIDA and University of Wisconsin as Russian Principal Investigator for Russian-American Research Project Russian FAST-I on cultural adaptation and pilot implementation of multi-families groups to prevent substance abuse, child abuse and neglect and Senior Researcher of Moscow State University on Psychology and Education. Before that she had served as National Consultant for Russian Federation in ILO/UNDCP project "Mobilizing Enterprises and Workers to Prevent Substance Abuse in Central and Eastern Europe." In 1996-2000, Tatiana was a Deputy Director of the Institute for Prevention Research of the International Association against Drug Abuse and Trafficking and coordinated substance abuse epidemiological and prevention projects. Before that she worked as Leading Researcher for the State Research Center on Addictions, as a Researcher for the All-Union Research Institute on General and Forensic Psychiatry and as a pediatrician for outpatient clinic in Moscow. Tatiana has a degree of Medical Doctor from the Second Moscow State Medical Institute, a PhD from the All-Union Research Institute on General and Forensic Psychiatry, and additional training as English medical literature translator. She is fluent in English and Ukrainian. She currently resides in Moscow.

Ivan Ivanov
Coordinator, Partner Relations, Russian Media Partnership to Combat HIV/AIDS

Ivan Ivanov is responsible for regular communication with current and potential RMP media partners. He also takes part in development and implementation of special projects. Ivan provides administrative and organizational support to Program and Partnership. Ivan is a student of pedagogical and psychological faculty of Russian New University. In 2005 he founded and during three years managed the youth non-profit organization that developed and implemented youth social integration projects and programs. Prior to join the organisation Ivan worked at secondary school as extra curricular. Ivan speaks English and German.

Alec (Avet) Khachatrian
Expert, Consultant

Alec (Avet) Khachatrian – expert and consultant providing consultancy support to GBC office in Russia. Till December 2008 – TPAA/GBC Regional Director of Programs in the Russian Federation and Ukraine. In the period of November 2003-November 2004, Alec was TPAA's Manager for Policy and Leadership. Before November 2003, prior to joining the TPAA team, Alec was a Program Assistant at UNAIDS in Moscow, where he worked on the development of several important HIV/AIDS projects, including the National Forum of Non-Commercial Organizations working in HIV/AIDS. Before that he had served as Executive Assistant to the UNAIDS Regional Technical Adviser on HIV/AIDS among Injecting Drug Users (IDU) in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. From 1998-2001, Alec served as the Information Manager at Medecins San Frontieres, where he managed an Informational Resource Center and coordinated the development of information materials on HIV/AIDS. Also, until 2003, he was a Technical Adviser to the Open Society Institute (Soros Foundation) on prevention projects among vulnerable groups, and development of advocacy strategies and tools for the region; he also served on an OSI-Russia Expert Board reviewing funding applications for Russian HIV/AIDS prevention projects.

Elena Komarova
Director, Finance&Administration

Elena Komarova acquired the specialty of accountant and economist at Moscow Plekhanov's Institute of National Economy. At the Financial Management School of Academy of National Economy at the Government of Russian Federation she passed the course of advanced education. She got the Certificate of Professional Accountant at Moscow State University High School of Economics in October, 2000 and studied English at Moscow State Linguistic University. Elena worked for «Pelican» trading company as an economist of financial department. Professional experience as an accountant Elena acquired at «Principal» insurance company. As Chief Accountant she worked for «KMS-Direct» consulting company and for advertising agency «SOLEANS-Print» studio. Her latest position was an accountant at IMS company.

Ekaterina Militskaya
Manager, Communications and External Affairs

Ekaterina Militskaya is responsible for coordinating the organisation's information and PR activities. Previously she worked at the Dutch non-governmental humanitarian organization 'AIDS Foundation East-West' (AFEW). She started working in AFEW as Communications and Media specialist, and later was appointed to act as the head of the AFEW's Communications department, responsible for designing and implementing the organization's communication strategy in Russia, and coordinating communication activities in Russian regions and abroad. Earlier she worked as information and communications specialist for a number of PR entities including information center 'Moscow 2012' and 'Souyz' Bureau of Public Communications. Ekaterina holds a degree in Journalism from the Moscow State University, faculty of journalism.

Natalya Podogova
Vice-President and Regional Director

Natalya Podogova is a Vice-President and Regional Director in the Russian Federation. She is responsible for development, coordination and implementation of the “Business Against AIDS” initiative and the Workplace Education Prevention program in Russia. Natalya graduated from Penza State Pedagogical Institute (faculty of foreign languages). After graduating from the Institute she worked in different commercial projects and companies in oil and light industries. She made a career starting from a position of a personal assistant up to a deputy commercial manager. Natalya also has an experience of foundation and running her own business project. Natalya has an MBA degree from Moscow Lomonosov State University High School of Business. She is fluent in English, speaks German. Natalya currently resides in Moscow.

Ludmila Semenova
Manager, Policy Program

Ludmila Semenova manages all aspects of the Policy Program, including development, coordination and implementation of program activities. Prior to joining TPAA, Ludmila worked as Networking and Publications Coordinator for the Economics Education and Research Consortium (EERC). In this position she managed the publishing process of more than 200 publications including working papers, newsletters, conference reports, and policy briefs; launched a number of electronic bulletins; developed the “Publications” section on the EERC’s site; and, liaised with program partners. Her responsibilities also included content development, implementation and promotion of the Global Development Network CIS Regional Window project — an English language online showcase for high quality, policy related social science research from the Commonwealth of Independent States that aims to provide international community with access to a broad range of online resources from the region. Ludmila is a graduate of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MA in Physics). She has more than 20 scientific publications in international journals. In 1996, she received a certificate in Publishing from Russian Institute of Mass Media.

Olga Sinitsyna
Senior Associate for Policy Analysis and Information Resources, Policy Program

Olga Sinitsyna is responsible for analysis and publications, coordinating the content development and promotion of the Online Policy Resource Centers on HIV and TB, www.HIVpolicy.ru and www.TBpolicy.ru, building and maintaining partner relationships. Prior to joining the organisation, Olga worked with American Councils for International Education: ACTR/ACCELS as Editor/ PR Specialist, developing a variety of informational and promotional materials for US programs administered by American Councils in the Russian Federation/ NIS. Earlier she worked as news editor, writer, translation editor, staff reporter, information specialist and media assistant for a number of publications, business companies, and institutions. Olga has her first degree in Journalism from the Far Eastern State University, Vladivostok, and an MA degree in Sociology from Lancaster University program at the Central European University, Warsaw, Poland, and additional training in Advanced Modern Journalism from Summer University at the Central European University: Budapest, Hungary.

Yelena Verenchuk
Consultant, Knowledge, Evaluation and Performance

Yelena Verenchuk is responsible for the coordination of HEALTH@WORK Program materials publishing, overseeing the development of electronic learning courses, working on updating and improving the content and package of training materials, as well as conducting trainings. Yelena has been with TPAA since 2006. Prior to that she worked as a consultant for the Health Department of the international NGO «SDA», served on the faculty of the Russian-American Christian University, and was an assistant to the executive director of GeminiFilm movie-distribution Company. As a registered nurse, she has two years of working experience in American hospitals. Yelena obtained her BS in Nursing from Southern Adventist University, TN, USA, and is currently working on her MA in Psychology. She is also a graduate of Moscow Institute of Television and Radio. Yelena has extensive experience as a trainer and translator, and speaks English, Spanish, German, and Italian.


Darya Vodorezova
Office Coordinator

Darya Vodorezova is Office coordinator, who primary responsibilities is day-to-day operations of GBC Moscow office in terms of its fiscal status, including basic office management, HR administration, and implementation of organizational policies. Darya is responsible for implementation of organizational personnel procedures and policies, implementation of Labor code regulations and basic HR activities.

During the period 2006-2008 Darya worked in GBC/TPAA’s Journalism Program where she provided with support all projects within the program - Journalism trainings on covering HIV/AIDS in mass media; Media Fellowship Program on HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis; Development of Information on-line resource and Association for journalists covering public health diseases.

Darya graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical University, Speech therapy department. After graduation, she worked as assistant to the director for the Svyatoslav Richter Foundation.
