NATIONAL ASSOCIATION «BUSINESS FOR HEALTHY SOCIETY»
National Association is a local network of Russian and international companies, business associations and labor unions.
The Association aims to mobilize the Russian business community, to foster an open and constructive dialogue between business leaders, government officials, experts, labor associations and community representatives, and to engage business community in prevention programs on social diseases.
SUPPORT OF ASSOCIATION’s MEMBERS
- Providing a platform for sharing experience and developing partnerships with other companies-members of Association, government officials and expert associations;
- Conducting surveys and publishing reports on the role of business in the fight against social diseases, evaluating effectiveness of response and attitudes of business leaders to the issues within the Association’s agenda;
- Holding annual award of “Best corporate healthcare projects” and providing awards by nominations.
- Arranging events with the participation of government officials, business and expert associations, holding roundtables and information seminars for business leaders and managers, providing expert consultancy to businesses;
- Providing wider access to accurate and timely information on social diseases and their impact on companies operation in Russia; providing access to multimedia resources on this subject.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of corporate programs in the format of public-private partnerships, and joint initiatives of several companies;
- Assisting with the implementation of non-discrimination policies, educational corporate programs focusing on heath;
- Providing expert support to companies interested in development and implementation of corporate health programs.
MEMBERSHIP AND STRUCTURE OF ASSOCIATION
Association membership is open to any Russian or international company operating in Russia and is free of charge. Companies are acknowledged as Association members for their valuable contribution to the fight against social diseases and for the support of health programs.
Association secretariat provides ongoing administrative, research and information support to the Association. Secretariat functions are held by GBC (“Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria”).
